Remote Control Not Responding

AC remote control not operating the unit or unresponsive buttons

Fix Steps:
1
Replace remote batteries with fresh ones (usually AAA)

Check battery polarity is correct (+ and - aligned properly)
3
Remove batteries and press any button for 20 seconds to discharge
4
Clean battery contacts with cotton swab and rubbing alcohol
5
Point remote directly at AC receiver (usually near display)
6
Remove any obstacles between remote and unit
7
Test remote sensor: point remote at phone camera, press button - you should see light on camera screen

Try manual controls on AC unit to verify it's working
9
Reset remote: Remove batteries, press all buttons, reinsert batteries

If persistent, remote may need replacement
Preventive Tip

Store remote away from heat and humidity. Replace batteries annually even if working.
