Remote Control Not Responding

Air conditioner doesn't respond to remote control commands

Fix Steps:
1
Replace remote batteries with fresh ones (2x AAA)
2
Check battery polarity is correct
3
Clean remote sensor LED with dry cloth
4
Test remote: Point at phone camera and press button - LED should light up on camera screen
5
Ensure no obstacles between remote and indoor unit sensor
6
Check indoor unit receiver is clean and not covered
7
Reset remote: Remove batteries, press any button 20 times, reinsert batteries
8
Try emergency operation button on indoor unit - if works, remote issue confirmed
9
Check if remote is set to correct mode (Cool, Heat, Dry, Fan)
10
Verify remote is within 7 meters of indoor unit
Preventive Tip

Replace batteries annually even if working. Keep remote away from water and direct sunlight. Store remote in clean, dry place. Clean sensor areas monthly.
